How many Red Bull flavors are there in the US?

Red Bull's US flavors page lists 18 cans in October 2026: three core cans (Energy Drink, Sugarfree and Zero) and ten Editions (Amber, Apple, Coconut, Iced, Peach, Pink, Red, Sea Blue, Summer and Yellow). Five Editions also come as a Sugarfree can. A Festive Edition, Arctic Berry, is sold only in the Red Bull Advent Calendar.

Key takeaways

  • Red Bull's US flavors page lists 18 cans: Energy Drink, Sugarfree, Zero, ten colored Editions and five Sugarfree Editions.
  • Every Red Bull can has the same caffeine per fluid ounce: 80 mg in an 8.4 fl oz can and 114 mg in a 12 fl oz can.
  • The Summer Edition 2026 (Sudachi Lime) is a limited-time can, and the Winter Edition 2025 (Fuji Apple & Ginger) became the permanent Apple Edition on August 31, 2026.
  • The CanMog catalog knows 511 Red Bull barcodes, and the database had 254 Red Bull can keys on October 24, 2026.
  • All 254 Red Bull keys were Common or Uncommon on October 24, 2026, because big-brand flavors top out at Uncommon in CanMog.

You open the cooler and see six Red Bull colors in one row, and you are not sure which ones are already on your shelf. Red Bull flavors come in two families: the core cans and the colored Red Bull editions. This page is the full US checklist of Red Bull flavors and editions, with the caffeine per can and how many CanMog players own each can.

Why Red Bull flavors make a good collector series

Red Bull flavors work like a numbered card set. There is a small core set that is easy to find, a colored set that changes over the years, and seasonal cans that leave the shelf after a few months. For a collector, that mix means you can finish most of the set fast and still have something to hunt.

Red Bull started the Energy Drink in Austria in 1987, and the company began to add flavors in 2013 with Red Bull Editions, first cranberry, blueberry and lime. Since then the Editions have changed color names, flavors and can designs many times.

Two kinds of cans: the core lineup and the Editions

The core lineup is three cans: Red Bull Energy Drink, Red Bull Sugarfree and Red Bull Zero. They stay on the shelf year after year. The Red Bull flavors page lists them first.

The Editions are the colored cans. Each Edition has a color name and a flavor, for example the Sea Blue Edition is Juneberry. Some Editions also have a Sugarfree twin, which is a different can with a different barcode.

How to collect every Red Bull flavor, step by step

Collecting the full Red Bull set is a short project if you go in order. Start with what every store has, then go after the seasonal and limited cans before they leave.

  1. Scan the core three first. Energy Drink, Sugarfree and Zero are in almost every gas station and grocery store. Scan each one in CanMog so the easy keys are done.
  2. Check off the ten Editions by color. Use the checklist table below and tick each color you find. A big grocery store often has five or more colors in one cooler.
  3. Look for the Sugarfree twins. Five Editions come in a Sugarfree can: Iced, Peach, Pink, Sea Blue and Summer. Each twin is its own can to keep.
  4. Catch the seasonal can while it is out. The Summer Edition is a limited-time can. Buy and scan it in the season, because it can be gone a few months later.
  5. Try other can sizes and multipacks. The same flavor can come in an 8.4 fl oz and a 12 fl oz can with different barcodes. Scan the size you find; a new barcode of the same flavor can add a new key.
  6. Keep an eye on imports. Shops that sell foreign snacks often carry Editions from Europe or Asia that are not on the US list. Those are the Red Bull cans that few players own.

The part people get wrong: the Sugarfree twin

Many collectors scan a Sugarfree Edition and think the flavor is done. In CanMog the Sugarfree can and the regular can are often two different keys with two owner counts. On October 24, 2026, the Pink Edition key had 101 owners and the Pink Sugarfree key had 13, so the Sugarfree can is the harder one.

The checklist below follows the Red Bull Editions page and the Red Bull flavors page, both read in October 2026. The owners and tier column comes from the CanMog database as of October 24, 2026. A dash means the data has no clear key for that can yet.

Every row on this list is a can you can still buy in the US in October 2026, except the Festive Edition, which comes only in the Advent Calendar. The Red Bull flavors page also says that special Editions "may release seasonally and are available for a limited time only."

Red Bull Summer Edition and the Winter Edition

The Red Bull Summer Edition 2026 is Sudachi Lime. Red Bull announced it on April 27, 2026 as a limited-time can in "summer-sun yellow," with and without sugar, in 8.4 and 12 fl oz cans. A second Summer Edition key in the CanMog data, with no flavor in its name, had 229 owners on October 24, 2026.

The Winter Edition has no fixed date. The Winter Edition 2025, Fuji Apple & Ginger, went on sale nationwide on November 3, 2025 in a red-to-yellow gradient can. On August 31, 2026, Red Bull made it a permanent can, the Apple Edition.

The Winter Edition 2024 went the same way. It was Iced Vanilla Berry, the first Edition sold with and without sugar, and it is now the Iced Edition. So if you missed a Winter can, it can come back as a regular Edition.

Tips to find Red Bull editions before they are gone

Red Bull Editions move fast, so the best tip is to scan a can the day you see it. A limited can that is in every cooler in July can be hard to find in October.

  • Buy the single can. A 12 fl oz 4-pack and a single can can have different barcodes. If you only need the key, one single can is enough.
  • Check two store types. Gas stations and big grocery stores can stock different colors, so one trip to each covers more of the list.
  • Look at the can design. The Apple Edition kept the red-to-yellow gradient of the Winter Edition 2025, so the two cans look alike. Read the name on the can before you skip it.
  • Scan imports when you travel. A Red Bull can from another country often has a different barcode and a different flavor list.

Caffeine per Red Bull can size

Every Red Bull can has the same caffeine per fluid ounce, about 9.5 mg. Caffeine Informer lists 80 mg in an 8.4 fl oz can and 114 mg in a 12 fl oz can, and the same 80 mg per 8.4 fl oz for Sugarfree, Zero and the Editions.

Can sizeCaffeine
8.4 fl oz (250 ml)80 mg
12 fl oz (355 ml)114 mg
16 fl oz (473 ml)about 151 mg
20 fl oz (591 ml)about 189 mg

The 16 and 20 fl oz values are scaled from the same 9.5 mg per fl oz. The CanMog catalog uses the same numbers for its 511 Red Bull barcodes.

How to measure your Red Bull progress

Your Red Bull progress is the number of different Red Bull cans on your shelf. Duplicates do not count, so ten cans of Energy Drink are one can.

  • Core set: do you have all three core cans? That is the first goal.
  • Edition colors: how many of the ten Edition colors do you have? Ten of ten is a full US set.
  • Sugarfree twins: how many of the five Sugarfree Editions do you have?
  • Seasonal: did you scan the Summer Edition 2026 before it left?
  • Brand Collector badge: the Brand Collector badge counts different cans of one brand, at 5, 10 and 30 cans. The full US set of 18 cans gets you past level II.

How rare is a Red Bull can in CanMog?

A Red Bull can in CanMog is Common or Uncommon. Rarity in CanMog is ownership scarcity: 17 or more owners is Common and 11 to 16 is Uncommon. Big brands have a shop floor, so a Red Bull flavor tops out at Uncommon even when only one player owns it.

I pulled these numbers from the CanMog database on October 24, 2026. The database had 254 Red Bull can keys: 35 were Common and 219 were Uncommon. Of those 219, 124 keys had only 1 or 2 owners, and they still show as Uncommon because of the floor.

The most owned Red Bull can was the Energy Drink, with 429 players, followed by the Peach Edition with 207 and the Iced Edition with 195. The tier table is on the rarity part of the home page.

Discontinued Red Bull flavors and other mistakes to avoid

The discontinued Red Bull flavors start with the first Editions. Wikipedia notes that the Silver Edition (lime) and the Blue Edition (blueberry) were discontinued, and the Red Edition changed from cranberry to watermelon. If you find an old Silver or Blue can, it is a can most players do not have.

Past Winter Editions are gone from the US flavors page too. Sporked lists them by year: Plum Twist, Holiday Spice, Arctic Berry, Pomegranate, Fig Apple and Pear Cinnamon. Arctic Berry came back as the Festive Edition in the Advent Calendar.

  • Mistake: you count the color, not the can. A Red Edition from 2013 and one from 2026 have the same color and a different flavor. Scan each one; a new barcode can be a new key.
  • Mistake: you skip the Sugarfree twin. It is a separate can and often the rarer key.
  • Mistake: you wait on the seasonal can. Limited cans leave the shelf in a few months.
  • Mistake: you expect a Legendary Red Bull. The shop floor keeps Red Bull at Uncommon at most, so a Red Bull can will not be Legendary in CanMog.

Foreign and regional Red Bull editions

The Red Bull editions outside the US are where the real hunt is. Europe and Asia get colors and seasonal flavors that the US list does not have, and many of those barcodes are not in the CanMog catalog yet.

A can the catalog does not know has no brand floor, so it follows the plain ownership tiers. If nobody owns it yet, you can be the first player to scan it and get the first-find bonus. Imports and travel cans are the best way to add a rare can to your Energy shelf.

Your Red Bull checklist and next steps

  • Core three: Energy Drink, Sugarfree, Zero.
  • Ten Editions: Amber, Apple, Coconut, Iced, Peach, Pink, Red, Sea Blue, Summer, Yellow.
  • Five Sugarfree Editions: Iced, Peach, Pink, Sea Blue, Summer.
  • Seasonal: the Summer Edition 2026 while it lasts, and the next Winter Edition when it comes out.
  • Rare hunt: discontinued cans, the Festive Edition and imports from other countries.
